Information for Teachers and
Lecturers -
Salut!, ˇHola! and Tag! |
Salut!, ˇHola! and Tag! were written for young beginners.
Initially the programs were intended for starters of below average
ability but we find that many schools use them with all beginners. The
36 elements in each language, cover the 10 topics illustrated below, plus days and
months.
Within each topic there are several levels of difficulty,
allowing children at different stages to work
on the same topic.
Within each level, there is also the
choice of 5, 10 or 20 "questions" to cater
for different speeds of work.
The program creates and practises
a practical vocabulary,
with sound (in the French and Spanish versions) to help pronunciation and to make the program
independent of reading ability.
The user completes each task with the use of the mouse only,
either by clicking on the choices
or by dragging objects.
No use of the keyboard is involved.
